Ebbey turns to search away from the lake. She is a reddish tan colored Rhodesian ridgeback cross with a black muzzle, dark ears and black circled eyes.

In order to work properly, and avoid false alerts, search dogs should be trained with one scent category. Some dogs can search for both live humans and cadavers, but most are better off focussing on one or the other.
